Born October 22, 1960, Riverside, CA passed away on February 23, 2022, Stockton, CA.
The Lord has called dearest Sherry home to join her preceded love ones: Antonio Perez, grandfather; Gabriela Perez, grandmother; Beatrice Aguilar, grandmother; Richard Cardoza Castillo Sr., father; Eleanor Perez Luna, mother; Richard Joseph Castillo, brother; Catherine Castillo, sister; Yolanda Castillo, sister; and Richard Anthony Castillo, brother.
Sherry is survived by loving family: Christina Johnson Moses, daughter; Isaac Johnson, son; Juanita Luna, sister; Mary Anne Lopez, sister, Steven Michael Castillo, brother; Louie Luna, brother; Lydia Vargas, sister; and an extended family of nieces and nephews.
In a loving tribute to his sister Sherry her brother Steven writes:
My Dearest Little Sister…
I am with mixed emotions as I mourn your passing. I am sad that you are gone, but relieved that your suffering is over.
It was an honor and privilege to have shared those special moments with you in our early years. And that is how I shall remember you.
I will remember our hand in hand walks to the bus stop. I will remember our discovery of images in the clouds. And I will remember your screams of joy as I pushed you in the swing.
I know people did not understand you, and that’s because they did not know what you suffered in life. But I do. But it’s over now sis. Your innocence is restored. I will look for you in the clouds until the day I join you.
