Marisol Chavez

Marisol Chavez was born on October 18, 1972 in French Camp, Ca to Petra Flores and Rafael Chavez. Marisol had four siblings, Rafael Chavez, Marco Chavez, Alfredo Peña, and Alejandra Chavez, who is now accompanying her in heaven along with their nephew Ralphie.  She leaves behind her stepfather Alfredo Peña, sister-in-law, Mariana Chavez, and nieces and nephews Reíanna, Rosalyn, Alejandro, and Laveya. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room. The last few years, her favorite saying was “I love you!” Those three words echo in all of our memories of her.  Music and dancing fascinated her all her life. At any family party, you could count on Mari performing, especially to Selena and Rigo Tovar. She loved celebrations, particularly her birthday. She was so loved that it seemed we celebrated 20 birthdays per year for her. Marisol faced many health challenges, but somehow she always found the strength to overcome the obstacles that life threw at her.  However, her body finally succumbed to these challenges on December 8th of 2022. She will be greatly missed, but always loved and remembered for her pure heart and big smile!
