Kim was an advocate for animals in every way. Her compassion, protection and kindness was exceptional. She was known to stop what she was doing to care for a stray and no stray went hungry if she could help it. Kim especially loved and adored her dogs and their bond was unbreakable.
Kim’s love for her family and friends was immense. Always ready to listen. Always there to open her door. Always ready to give to someone in need. Always there if you needed a hug, to cry, or to laugh, all you had to do was call Kimmy and she would make it happen.

Poems
And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always irregularly.
Spaces fill with a kind of
soothing electric vibration.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed.
We can be. Be and be better.
For they existed.

I Thought Of You Today
I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
and a picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake,
with which I’ll never part.
God has you in His keeping.
I have you in my heart.
