In Loving Memory of Jose Valdivia Lara. Jose was born on February 20, 1961, in San Martin De Bolanos, Jalisco, Mexico. He was 1 of 7 children born to Jose Rosa and Esther Valdivia Lara. In the year of 1976, at the age of 15 years old, he migrated to the U.S. in hopes of a better life and future. In 1984 Jose met his soul mate Delia Galvan in Stockton, Ca. 3 years later, in September of 1987 they married. Jose and Delia Lara built a family rooted in deep affection and values. Together they were blessed and had 5 children whose names are Marco, Claudia, Jose, Alejandro, and Carla. He was the humblest, loving, sweetest and hardworking husband, father, and grandfather ever who touched the lives of many.
Jose performed various jobs from the time he was in the U.S., ultimately leading him to be in a line of work as a heavy machine operator. He worked for Foothill Sanitary Landfill for 22 years. He was a hardworking, dedicated worker who wouldn’t miss a day’s work even if he was ill. Always ensuring he provided all means to his family.
On February 28, 2025, surrounded by love, and his family, he peacefully passed on, reuniting with those who waited for him in heaven. Jose’s life was full of immense love, care, and honor. His life was a blessing, and his legacy will live on through the love and values he instilled in us. He is loved beyond words and missed beyond measures. His light will only continue to inspire and guide us.
