In Loving Memory of Della Ruby Ruiz August 15, 1952 - July 4, 2021
Della was known for her generous and caring nature. She had compassion for all people and always relished doing for others. She was adored because of her joking, dancing, laughter and ability to make conversation with everyone. She was also the crazy sister, known as "la loca" by her brother Ray. She touched everyone's lives and left a special mark on each and every one of us. She enjoyed writing poems, doing crafts, gardening, crocheting and telling stories to the children. She loved the beach and collecting seashells but was not fond of going into the water. She always included everyone and made sure no one felt left out. She couldn't get enough of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She also loved hanging out with her sisters Dolores, Delpha, niece Carolina who was like a sister to her, and sister-in-law Gloria and she never wanted to go anywhere without at least one of them.
Della Ruby Ruiz was born in South Haven, Michigan on August 15, 1952. She lived most of her adult life in San Antonio, TX and Stockton, CA near her siblings that she loved so dearly. She was the tenth of eleven children. Della entered the gates of Heaven on July 4, 2021. She is predeceased by her parents Domingo (f) and Carolina P. Ruiz (.1-) and her brother Delano R.Ruiz (t). She leaves to cherish her memories her five children: Ernie Ayala (Dianna), Robert Ayala (Yolanda), Danny Ray Ayala, Elisa Pena (Felix), and Maria Ayala; her sixteen grandchildren Amber, Anthony, Ashley, Venus, Marie, Robert, Angel, Angelo, Nicholas, Alejandro, Alyssa, Priscilla, Xavier, Amanda, Alexcia, and Max; and eight great-grandchildren Klairabelle, Gian-Luca, Vivian, Arya, Sophia, Gabriella, Kyrie, and Baby Sal. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings Domingo (Betty), David (Irene), Daniel (Ofelia), Dante (Mary), Douglas (Mary (f)), Sister-in-law Mary, Dolores, Donald (Gloria), Delpha, and Del (Sherrie).
