Brandi Hornsby Obituary

Brandi was born on April 7, 1997 in Stockton, California to Tonya Wilkerson. She departed this life on Monday, October 4, 2021. She resided here in Stockton for all 24 years of her life. Brandi loved her Basketball life from Kindergarten to her Senior Year in High School. She attended Parkland, Sutherland and Pullium elementary and graduated from McNair High School in 2015. she played basketball and Junior Giants baseball for Parks and Recreation. She made numerous friends including her high school team mares. She traveled with her AAU blackout basketball team having so much fun making team memories during that time in her life. Brandi was so overwhelmed with happiness to become a mother enjoying bonding with her baby girl, Giana, for six weeks of GG's life. Our family will make sure she grows up knowing who her mother was how much she loved GG. Those who will continue to cherish their memories with her are her Mother, Tonya Wilkerson; Brother, Ken; Sisters, Leslie and Kiana. Her Uncle Winston, Nieces, Kalayla and Viviana, Two Nephews, Rashad and Malik, Two Besties, Marissa and Michelle just to mention the immediate and intimate family in her life. There are a host of her family and friends, too many to add here. Brandi will continue to live in the hears of her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Brandi is also survived by her father, Mark Hornsby, Sisters and Brothers.

Please receive our gratitude for all who gave monetary support and prayers in many ways to
lighten the weight of this devastating unforeseen task of planning her funeral. Thank you for loving sup-
port for Giana's future. Yet more gratitude for Zapata Funeral Home, Barry & Family for venue and
food preparations, Cathy at Minuteman Press for this program. So much kindness and generosity in this difficult time.
